About Us

At Pack 30, we believe in building character, developing leadership, and creating lifelong memories through the fun and adventure of Scouting. Our program helps boys and girls from all backgrounds explore the outdoors, learn new skills, and grow into confident, responsible young people who strive to live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Whether it's hiking through the woods, building Pinewood Derby cars, camping under the stars, or cooking over a campfire, every activity is an opportunity for growth, friendship, and discovery.

For more than 50 years, Pack 30 has proudly served the youth of our community through Scouting. We are excited to welcome new families as we begin the 2026–2027 Scouting year! Pack 30 is chartered by the Rantoul Rotary Club, whose continued support helps make our program possible.

Our calendar is filled with exciting adventures throughout the year, including camping trips, hikes, community service projects, the annual Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Banquet, Raingutter Regatta, Cub Scout Day Camp, and many other activities that keep our Scouts active, engaged, and having fun.

We use Scoutbook to track each Scout's advancement, achievements, and awards. Scoutbook is an easy-to-use online tool that allows parents to follow their Scout's progress throughout their Cub Scouting journey. When your Scout joins Pack 30, you'll receive an invitation to create your Scoutbook account. Please accept the invitation and complete your profile with your current email address and cell phone number so you can receive important Pack communications and stay up to date on upcoming events.
